Born and raised in Alberta, Canada, Sue Kruszewski had spent her early years enjoying times and holidays with her family, and with her parents who were Italian immigrants. Sue vividly remembers summer vacations in B.C. , a trip to Italy, Christmas holidays and other events.  Ever since her earliest days, she loved being with her family and mentally recorded the many values and benefits she experienced.

Sue remained in Alberta and in 1983 attended the University of Alberta. She studied Education to fulfill a life-long dream of being a teacher.  However, she could not escape her other dreams of being a mom, and being a writer.  She read every chance she had and took different courses on writing.  She met her future husband at University.

Sue earned her Bachelor of Education degree and moved to a small town in northern Alberta where she was hired as a grade 3 teacher.  "I became a student of life.  I learned more about teaching and people in my job than anything I learned in University," she recalls. A year later, Sue married and planted her roots back in Edmonton. Sue was then hired to teach the grade 3-4 combined class in Gwynne, Alberta and started a family shortly after.

Sue and Les had 5 kids in 8 years.  After spending many crazy-busy years between teaching, having children and raising her kids, running a successful scrapbooking business, facilitating for the University of Alberta and tutoring part-time, she started writing about her most important experiences - parenting and teaching.  Her two loves were melded together in the publication of Raising Well Behaved Kids in 2008.

Her first book, Raising Well Behaved Kids, has received wide acclaim including publication throughout Mexico, in Spanish, and in Lebanon, in Arabic.  She has also had requests to send her book to other countries. Sue has penned three other books - all with the aim to support parents and families.

Sue has other family-oriented projects and services in mind and will be adding those as time allows (check back periodically!).  She is now working on her ultimate dream of a facility, The Family Zone, due to be completed in the somewhat near-distant future!

"Sue's love of parenting and supporting other parents, and people, is infectious.  I can't wait for this facility to be up and running as I know it will serve the community so well because the focus is on supporting the whole family.  Once you see her, hear her vision and see her passion, you want to be a part of all of it with her."
